カンテレ・フジテレビ系ドラマ『大豆田とわ子と三人の元夫』の話題の挿入歌「All The Same」先行配信（5月26日配信）に合わせてBIGYUKIからコメントが到着！
現代ジャズシーンで活躍するグラミー賞ノミネート歌手Gretchen Parlatoが日本のテレビドラマで初めて挿入歌を担った「All The Same」が5月26日（水）に先行配信。
クラシック/現代音楽、サウンドトラックから米津玄師等のJ-POPのトップシーンのアレンジメントまで縦横無尽に活躍の場を拡げている坂東祐大が作曲し、原詞を同ドラマの脚本家・坂元裕二が書き下ろし、更にソロ活動の他、METAFIVEやKIMONOSとしても活動中のLEO今井が英詞を務めるという、豪華な布陣による挿入歌が話題となっている。
演奏はグレッチェンの歌唱の他に、NYで活躍するキーボーディストBIGYUKIも参加し、日本のジャズ界から須川崇志（Bs）、石若駿（Dr）、そして坂東が主宰するEnsemble FOVEがオーケストラを担う。
6月9日発売の音楽集「Towako’s Diary – from “大豆田とわ子と三人の元夫”」に先駆けての配信となる。

◆Release Information
Jazz Singer Gretchen Parlato’s first song for Japanese TV drama,
“All The Same” will be available world-wide for streaming!
Gretchen Parlato is the Grammy-nominated composer and vocalist for the
Best Jazz Album in 2013 and known as one of the most imaginative and
inspiring artists on the contemporary Jazz scenes.
People wowed to hear the news about Gretchen Parlato to participate
the soundtrack of Japanese TV drama: “My Dear Exes”, started from
April 13rd, 2021 in Japan for the first time and it went viral on
social media. In response to the many requests from those who were
captivated by her voice in the play, the single, ” All The Same” will
be released on May 26, in prior to the soundtrack’s release
The song is composed by a composer Yuta Bandoh who is active in all
fields from classical/contemporary music and soundtracks to
arrangements for top J-POP scenes.
The original lyrics were written by the drama’s scriptwriter, Yuji
Sakamoto, and the English lyrics were written by LEO IMAI, who is
known for his solo activities as well as the bands METAFIVE and
KIMONOS. The soundtrack lineup has been a hot topic right after the
first episode was aired.
BIG YUKI, a NY-based keyboardist who has performed with A Tribe Called
Quest, J.Cole and with Mark Guiliana, Robert Glasper, Ben Williams and
from Japanese Jazz world, Takashi Sugawa (bs) and Shun Ishiwaka (dr)
participated in the project. And Ensemble FOVE, which Bandoh presides
over, orchestrated tLIhe song.
