あらゆる音楽活動で勢力的な村松崇継が、8月22日(水)にNew Album『青き海辺のカタルシス』をリリース。
New Album『青き海辺のカタルシス』は、作曲家・ピアニスト、シンガーソングライターとして村松崇継がここ2年（2017年から2018年）に生み出した、音楽の軌跡を凝縮したオリジナルアルバムである。
収録楽曲には、映画『メアリと魔女の花』(2017年)、第41回 日本アカデミー賞 優秀音楽賞受賞〈2年連続受賞〉、映画『8年越しの花嫁 奇跡の実話』(2017年)をはじめ、テレビ朝日系ドラマ「未解決の女 警視庁文書捜査官」(2018年)、テレビ東京系ドラマBiz「ラストチャンス 再生請負人」(2018年)の劇中音楽。更には、シンガーソングライターとし初の書き下ろし楽曲となった「Starting over」（テレビ東京系ドラマBiz「ラストチャンス 再生請負人」主題歌）、NHK連続テレビ小説「だんだん」(2009年)の劇中歌として作詞：竹内まりや と制作し、歌を唄うきっかけともなった「いのちの歌」のセルフカバーなど、珠玉の全7曲を収録。
そのひとつひとつの楽曲が作品としての物語を彩り、感動的な一本の映画を観たような気持ちにさせられる。主題歌あり、ドラマ音楽あり、映画音楽ありの村松崇継ワールド全開のベストアルバムと言っても過言ではないオリジナルアルバムがここに誕生した。

Muramatsu Takatsugu, who participates in all kinds of musical activities energetically, will release a new album “Blue Seaside Catharsis” on 22nd August (wed).
This new original album “Blue Seaside Catharsis” contains of the trajectory of Takatsugu’s music from 2017-2018 as a song writer, pianist and singer.
The albums includes 7 splendid works from the movie “Mary and the Witch’s Flower” (2017) and “The 8-year engagement” (2017), which won the 41st Japan Academy Prize Best Music Award, and songs from the TV Asahi drama “The Unsolved Woman ~ The Document Investigator of the Police Headquarters” (2018) and TV Tokyo drama Biz “Last Chance ~ the Contractor of Rebirth” (2018). Also included is the opening theme song for “Last Chance: the contractor for Rebirth”, which was the first song Takatsugu has written as a singer-songwriter, followed by the self-cover of “The Song of Life”, written by Mariya Takeuchi, which was the song that triggered Takatsugu to become a singer.
Each song has its own story, bringing up emotions so that one feels like they are watching a movie. This original album has even become like a best album, with the whole of Muramatsu Takatsugu’s world unfolded.
