マジシャンのMr．マリックさんが7月30日、東京都内で行われたCSファミリー劇場「Mr．マリック超魔術シリーズ」の会見に登場した。1980年代後半から90年代にかけて、ハンドパワーを使う超魔術師として一世を風靡（ふうび）した当時の番組が26年ぶりに放送されることになり、マリックさんは「孫の代に私のハンドパワーを見てもらえるのはうれしい」と喜び、「人は謎を見たら、（答えを）追い求めるとことがDNAに組み込まれていますが、信じて驚いてから疑って。まず番組を信じて見ていただきたい。見終わってからマジックだと思っていただきたい」と番組の楽しみ方を語った。
同チャンネルでは、9月17日から毎週木曜日、3週にわたって、日本テレビで放送されていた人気番組「Mr．マリック超魔術シリーズ」を放送する。会見では、報道陣にスプーン移動とスプーン曲げの超魔術を生披露し、放送当時の思い出を語った。

Magician Mr.Maric appeared at a press conference of CS Family Gekijo “Mr．Maric super magic series” in Tokyo on July 30th. As it has been decided that a program popular in the 1980s and 1990s, in which he was a magician who used hand power, will be re-aired after 26 years, Maric gladly said: “If the generations of my children and grandchildren can see my hand power, it will be a great pleasure”, and he gave tips on how to enjoy the program: “It is naturally wired into our DNA that we will seek for the answer when we see a riddle, but you should all have belief, be surprised and raise doubts. First of all, I want everyone to have confidence and watch the program first. After watching it, I want you to think it is magic”.
